Our client, a sensory and consumer research firm, wanted to:

  • Test participants’ liking for a new conditioner.
  • Identify areas for improvement before launch, in order to ensure the range’s commercial success.

Needs

  • Recruitment of 600 people split into 4 cells (according to their hair type).
  • Putting the test-related questionnaire online (product to be tested over a 7-day period).
  • Monitoring and support for testers.
  • Collection of the product sent at the end of the test.
  • Participant compensation.

  • Review of the recruitment screener provided by the client.
  • Posting the screener on our panel.
  • Recruitment confirmation by SMS.

Logistics

  • Posting the questionnaire online, in order to gather testers’ feedback on the product used for 7 days.
  • Sending emails and SMS during the test to remind participants of the instructions.
  • Putting a U&A questionnaire online to learn about respondents’ habits, interest in the product, and purchase intent
  • Sending a return envelope in order to retrieve the bottle.

Delivery

  • Delivery of raw data in Excel format.
